Career day cum social/dinning etiquette course!

1 month since I last blogged and its seems dead anyway. well im here now cos got the sudden urge to memorate this long and fun day so I wont forget it. Started at school where e1 and e2 were at the ava room. Saw everyone dressed their best, definitely different from the usual boring school uniform.. than came all the talks from NYJC, SP with forgot what courses (too boring liao :P) and even MI came to gate crash sia.. lol.

blah blah blah than off to FURAMA HOTEL for the social/dinner etiquette course. 1st was the dinning etiquette course by Elaine Heng ( surprised i actually remember this sia) teaching us about fine dinner and all the mannerisms etc.. next was the social etiquette course by Christian Chua. He sorta talked bout his life story and entrepreneurship - how it can start from anything, just that you need to find it.
Lunch followed and the food was average but the portions damn SMALL! well at least nobody sat next to me on the right so had extra serving of soup xD
Christian sat at our table and we discovered one more talent of his, being able to profile a person
according to their personality. wow and he was spot on for everything!
After that went out of the ballroom and camwhored xD
Went to plaza sing with everyone there. than BK to eat but was still fulll from the lunch so nothing for me. hahas..
after than pool with Yk, Jeremy, Gene & Jasmine.. played 4 games than left for home.

Electrocution

Feeling the current going down my arm and the skin on my right ring finger peeling away, this served as a reminder of the dangers of getting an electric shock.
Damn i really thank God im alive after what happened. I could still feel a sharp pain even now when i press the spot that took that brunt of the damage.

So here's the story. I was charging and playing my psp at the same time (not a good idea so please don't do it). The middle portion of the psp charger which contain like that circuit board and all was placed somewhere high up.
I was playing Techu : Shadow Assassins and i was agiatated by something in the game. than i heard a loud BANG!
The middle part of the charger had dropped onto the floor. Unknown to me, the back cover had fallen out and the circuit board was exposed. So i casually picked up the charger and got the shock of my life!
Really i thank God i was able to let go of the charger before any severe consequences.

Immediately after letting go I went to switch off the plug. Charger was out for the count but thankfully I had what was important, my live.
So lesson learnt, NEVER charge and play something at the same time, lets just hope if you do, you'll live to regret it..

new hair cut, new life?

Well looking from the title its obvious i just cut my hair just now. went to ave 8 the 3.80 shop to cut after school. jasper being the good friend he is pei-ed me. i think my hair is hell of alot shorter than before, duno nice anot. well just have to get used to it..

Last training with Falcons II and handing over parade tmr. seems like ytd when we 1st took them for the 1st training. haven really gotten to know any of them and seems like time wasted. well nvm tmr lets all go chiong water games liao ar! XD
Saturdays will never be the same again, too used to the weekly routine of NPCC but well look on the bright side at least can sleep in XD

Morning went school at like 8.30 for sec1 orientation as campcraft advisor. after that lunched @ point the mac with gary, ah lim, kenny & guan liang..
went home change than met gary & lim at gary's house.. gave him dota (can be counted as his birthday present. hahas) & gary sprayed lim's hair... hahas end up he look damn ~~pai~~guai kia sia xD

Kenny came than we took a cab to AMK Hub to met alvin, en zhang, lishan, lizhi & cherie for the movie.. ended up we spilt so they went to watch yesman while the 4 of us went to watch
IP Man! wow bruce lee's teacher damn zai sia he can 10 vs 1 and still come out victorious lorx... wing chun kungfu XD
all the fightings scenes are damn cool and so of them seem so real like when Ip man breaks one guy's legs with the cracking sound it made.. ouch poor guy.. hahas...
oh and just nice as we came out of the cinema we bummed into the rest of them lorx.. the timing so nice start and end round same time XD

Back from youth camp, facing your giants, 17 - 20 december. below is a summary of the camp. pardon my memory if any of the stuff got mixed up :P

17th December
Dad drove me & my sis to the Boys Brigade Hq for the camp. reached there & found out im in group 6 which will later be named HONEYSTARS!! my group had Abigail (leader), Laura, Charlston, Jonas, Denise & Ivan.. so after we spilt into our groups we went for icebreakers, sermon, lunch (packet food) than off to design our flag! next was the 'dirty and wet games'. wash-up, dinner (packet food again), workshop, supper which was char kway teow! 6 packets devoured by everyone in like 5 minutes lorx... hahas.. ghost stories by rudolf than off to bed...

18th December
woke up morning devotion, breakfast, sermon, lunch (packet food) followed by the 'wet games'. the game was called lost! the objective was to build a structure n defend it against other groups n attack n destroy their structure.. the game had alot of craziness but was also alot of fun.. wash-up, dinner , workshop than back to the bunks..
with the lights out the 'disco' by torchlight stared.. hahas.. Wei Yang & Dhinesh did their sleazy dance and man was it PRICELESS to watch... hahahahaha... ghost stories by rudolf n han xiang than off to lala land...

19th December
3rd day's main event was the food race!! another version of the amazing race except we ran around singapore to find and eat good food instead of just finding clues... now thats my kind of race XD
before we left all 8 groups competed to see who could drink 2.5litre of water 1st. my group finished 3rd (:
1st station had to take 5 photos with random people outside nee an city the water fountain..
than we ran off to eat mutton stomach soup @ amoy street (credits to charlston for remembering) where we also formed an alliance with co co crunch.
next was tiong bahru market for pigs intestine soup but was sold out & fried oyster which was damn nice..
than chinatown for bo lu pau & mango icecream..
on the bus ride to sunshine plaza to the wan ton mee whcih was our dinner, we played a compilation of lame games. some of them were the MRT game, the bang bang game & black magic..
we ended up wasting lik 45 mins at there slowly eating and playing the lame games until 2 other groups caught up to us.. well but we had our fun team bonding XD
last station was the mr bean shop at maxwell road for soya bean..
when we left there was like total of 5 groups including our group there? so there was a mad rush to the bus stop for us.. hahas...
we manged to make it back but was like 4th & 5th.. for our prize we had to choose army rations.. my group got one that tasted like satay chicken while co co crunch one's was like a western meal.. wow n the way it was cooked was damn cool as no fire was needed to boil the hot water.. wash-up after that...
Last event for the night was finale night. there were two activities, the 1st one we had to do the sound effects for a short movie clip.. my group got the quantum of solace & it was damn hard lor.. 2nd activity was the youth talent show.. abie and charlston sang fall for you by secondhand serenade while the rest of us acted behind them? hahas nvm it was fun.. than was the closing of the camp with the celebration of the december babies..
& the tau pok of JUSTIN! too bad the slice of cake that was meant for his face got accidentally thrown away :P

to play bridge.. slowly as we played the canteen started to fill up until like almost everyone in the whole camp was there playing either bridge, asshole dai dee or werewolves..

20th December
One group us ton-ed the night n didnt sleep.. so when we went for morning devotion, one group of us were like zombies like that... hahas... breakgfast was bread & icecream!! wow what a combo xD
cleaned up the bunks than back to the hall where people slowly left...
& my handphone was used to cam whore by ALOT of people cos it has the best camera...

Hahas well i met & made alot of new frenz at this camp & really felt and grow closer to God and learned alot of lessons and more about Him... will miss this camp with alot of memories & it is the best youth camp so far..

Just came back from school. went there to buy my books.. going down to buy lunch after this post...
Yesterday i completed watching/reading both the
Twlight movie &Twilight book.. i watched the movie 1st than loaned my sis copy of the book to chiong through.. it took me the whole day just to read finish the whole book.. damn was i tired after reading it..
comparing the book & the movie, i felt that the movie was quite fast paced compared to the book & skipped and left alot of ~~things~~details out and changed certain things..
i think the book was much better than the movie... so its best you watch the movie be4 reading the book if not you would sure criticize the movie (maybe)..
dont worry as i wont post any spoilers here... LOL..

Maybe later i'll start on New Moon...
hope it wont turn out to be so long winded as the beginning of the 1st book... damn it was abit of a torture... lols

long time no post so heres a summary on everything i can remb.. lols.

21st - 23rd Nov
went for the NCO camp '08.. lol lik only now blog bout it like damn late n all the details are really foggy in my head nw.. so maybe blog bout it when i remb.. LOL..
ok back to the camp. I was the group facilitator for group 3 called calm.. so my group got kington, alan, eastella, valerie, selicia & claudia..

right nw can only remb the campfire so skip all the way to that which was on the 2nd day evening.. the mood of the campfire built up steadily and held its peak for quite awhile but than dropped damn fast & quickly. lols..
after that went for all the debriefs than sleepin time!! but duno y lik i couldnt seem slp =.=
than went canteen walk walk & just nice mr chin & some CIs went all the way to jalan kayu to buy roti prata.. w8 until 3am for them to come back n slept awhile..
after they come back than i eat finish can finally sleep in peace... LOL must eat if not cant sleep sia.. hahas...

third day quite short day & my group were in charge of the PT session.. after tat eat area cleaning grand finale than GO HOME!
lols.. went kfc with teng, kenny & en zhang eat lunch.. after tat went home sleep at like 2 or 3pm until next morning 8am... 16/17 hrs of sleep sia!!!

25th Nov
24th didnt do anything except sleep n duno wat else liaos.. lols..
well than next day went to celebrate jasmine's birthday.. went kbox sing 4 hrs $21 sia... wa my ~~heart~~wallet damn pain sia got hole liao... lols..

26th Nov
That day had the Land division visit at AMK police station..

Alfi came my hse to exchange me the xbox controller n NFS game for the a7x cd.. than after that went gary's hse help take the xbox go..
reached there lik not many ppl only got ghim choon, sharon, lizhi, lishan & cherie.. set up xbox than play until night time go out eat dinner cos bbq on 2nd night.. kelly & wei chong came & all went subway for dinner...
go back chalet, vanessa came than ~~smash~~cut cake for lizhi birthday.. LOLL. lishan, kelly & wei chong left after that...
xbox-ed awhile than slept all the way...

Next morning wake up n ate breakfast.. after breakfast went to Wild Wild Wet!!
enjoyed everything than ate lunch at the kfc there at lik 2/3 plus liddat... went back the chalet & found out that jeremy lim, kenny n nicholas had arrived already..
bathed than xbox-ed again.. after that went to get the bbq started at round 6 liddat..
blah blah than guo jing n ghim hong came.. fire started than around that time jeremy teng n alvin came..
after that bbq-ed xbox-ed ate... some ppl left after that than i forgot liao...

next day pack bag check out.. ~~heart~~wallet pain again.. LOLL.. went school than point than home to put bag.. LOL.. after that went watchMadagascar 2 with deannz, en zhang, lishan, alvin, gary & jeremy lim at AMK hub.. after that went S11 eat.. homed & slept again until next morning..

Today - 30th Nov
went church & had 5th sunday activity which was bowling.. service for half hr than went keppel club..
there was only 8 lanes so alot of ppl had to squeeze into one lane.. some lanes damn jialat got 10 ppl sia.. my lane had 7 ppl.
halfway through we damn suay all the balls got stuck at the back of the lane until we couldnt play.. so all of us ended up waitin half an hour for the ppl to fix the problem... damn suay 1 quarter of the time kena eaten up =.= so i ended up only playin like 1½ games for the 2 hrs...
vivo for lunch at LJS.. window shopping and talking cock with justin, dhinesh & russell after that..
found my sis than parents picked both of us went home... slept while than went grandma hse eat dinner.. homed than here i am..

Today went to watch Quantum of Solace @ AMK Hub with my mum & sis. haven been updating cos its like ~~im lazy to blog~~ nth much to blog about.

Parts of the movie are confusing/hard to understand like in the begining of the movie.. but after awhile everything falls into place... overall its quite a good movie worth watching but to truely understand everythin must watch like twice? lol..

well other than weekends most of the holiday has been a boring day stuck at home.. haiz SG got nothing much to do nw sia.. everythin needs cash maybe i should look for a job? but like its already so far into the holidays & im lazy o.o

Today is the last day of school. In the blink of an eye the year is gone. wow time sure flies... alot of things happened this year, both good & bad. well i live life with no regrets XD

went to school late like oso nobody care sia. hahas after exams everyone all heck care lorx.. sianz had to wait until 12.45 for report book.. they smart school end than give cos everyone will just run when they get the book.

they also had a mini celebration for Lily Lee & Adeline Tan who are leaving our school this year. damn sadd sia like alot good teachers leaving the school when our turn take o levels.. hope wont get any ~~shit~~lousy teachers next year. especially Elizabeth Teo.. dammit shes fucking bored until you wish you were dead sia.. LOLLL

@ AMK Hub. bought tickets for the 12.40 show at like 10 plus? so had 1hr 40 min to kill.
went down to pepper lunch for ~~recess~~lunch. my wallet felt damn light after that.
after that went in to the movie. but than went out again to buy drinks n popcorn. like idiots sia walk in than come out again. LOL

the movie was so-so ar. like the plot is so unbelievable but nice to watch. crazed supercomputer manipulating technology. that sums it all up.

lunched at burgerking..

Didn't go to school today.. instead went to amk hub to watch movie.. was suppose to meet Alex n Zelong at amk hub at 10 but i sorta overslept.. so instead i met Christabel, Euwen n Kaiqi outside school the busstop than go tgt.. met alex n zelong and lunched at mos burger..

The Connection at 12.50... i tink its a hong kong remake of a american movies called Cellular.. its was quite action packed with a nice storyline..
after that Kaiqi left than the rest of us went to mac for a snack than off to watch
Max Payne which opened today. Its one of those movie which ur have to watch a few times to understand wats realli goin on.. or maybe u nid to plae the game? its not a bad game to movie convert...

went home after that with a total of $0.15 left in my wallet... wa piang my heart pain sia wallet so light... LOLS!

Had no school on monday & tuesday but had CLASS CHALET instead XDD damn fun lorx...

Woke up n went to school to meet Edna & Chung Hong to settle the leadership games for the NCO camp.. went home at round 1 to get ready for the chalet..
met Alex at round 3 n my mum gave us a lift there..

Went for the F1 nite race on sunday. I got super super lucky as my aunt my aunt give me de.. Actually is my uncle's tickets but he manged get the sweep one so give my aunt.. Well this is gonna be the 1st real post i had since like over 1 week ago? school started again on monday.. which leaves just 2 weeks to EOY exams.. damn time flies fast..

Today went to KC hse to study.. there got kc, alex, darren, ze long & me.. Studied from lik 11 plus to like 3 plus liddat.. we damn guai sia study so long.. hahas... after that watched a movie, rogue assassin. well come monday we see who wants a "compliment".. hahas inside joke.. after movie ended went down to coffee shop eat cos all damn hungry.. i ate french fries.. after that went 7-11 eat 2nd round.. cup noodles this time.. wa finally im full... hahas... home-ed after that..

Oh ya and my dad bought me the boys like girls album.. seems like i abit slow ar onli nw buy the cd.. listenin to it nw, quite nice...

45 Things To Do In An Exam When You Know You're Going To Fail It Anyway!

1. Get a copy of the exam, run out screaming "Andre, Andre, I've got the secret documents!!"

2. Talk the entire way through the exam. Read questions aloud, debate your answers with yourself out loud. If asked to stop, yell out, "I'm SOOO sure that you can hear me thinking." Then start talking about what a jerk the instructor is.

3. Bring a Game Boy. Play with the volume at max level.

4. On the answer sheet find a new, interesting way to refuse to answer every question. For example: I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it conflicts with my religious beliefs. Be creative.

5. Run into the exam room looking about frantically. Breathe a sigh of relief. Go to the instructor, say "They've found me, I have to leave the country" and run off.

6. 15 min. into the exam, stand up, rip up all the papers into very small pieces, throw them into the air and yell out "Merry Christmas." If you're really daring, ask for another copy of the exam. Say you lost the first one. Repeat this process every 15 min.

7. Come into the exam wearing slippers, a bathrobe, a towel on your head, and nothing else.

Todays the Air Rifle comp. Nationals i tink. Last time i touched my rifle was lik wat the invitational shoot which was idk how many months ago? Surprised Bernard Soh still remembered me even though tis yr i oso nv even attend one trainin. Lol.. so went to skool bt NO LESSONS!! advantages of the comp. took everythin went to Yishun SAFRA and slacked for lik 2 hrs? Well my shoot was lik both gd n bad.. bad is tat the 1st 20 shots i sorta forgot how to shoot properly so long nv touch gun wan me shoot comp -.-... gd is i remb how to shoot halfway through.. Lols. so my score was lik 361/600... a shit score in my opinion... Nicholas gt lik 445/600 (WTF!!) wa heng nv bet with him sia... dammit lost to him lik 84 pts!! omg i suck at shootin.. lols...

Today went Downtown East cos heard that most of the stuff there renovate fin liaos
so go look see.. Met Edna at hougang pt 1130 liddat and bought bubble tea.. was suppose to meet lizhi on the bus but ended up couldn't make it in time.. Haiz actually can make it ones lorx.. Only Edna cant run in her shoes complain feet pain sia -.-...

Eh nvm so gt on 88 and talked alot of crap.. Reached interchange took forgot wat bus liao to downtown east.. Met Kenny n En Zhang there at the new shoppin mall.. went arcade top up than Pastamania for lunch.. Lol me n Ez eat the tobasco sauce lik its nothing lorx... Hahas especially Ez he even went to eat the tobasco on its own... Than act act tat its not hot and he dun nid water lorx -.-... Went back to arcade after tat... Than Vanessa came.. Played until tapz card no money than took neoprint... Overall the shoppin mall gt alot things to do lik bowling n even got iceskating, onli no time lorx..

Skipped some parts... Went home for lik onli 1 half hours cos goin the guitar campfire after tat.. Lol lik chiong my dinner in 10 mins, very rushed de... Campfire gt onli me, En Zhang again, Ghim Choon, Yao Hui and Shane there lorx... Campfire was boring realli felt lik slpin during some parts of it.. but persevered and made it through it without slpin.. Hahas... Went home at lik 11?

Today woke up at 8 to go to HTA to take 2nd set of uniform. Watched 1 quarter of game 6 of NBA Finals Boston Celtics vs LA Lakers be4 leavin the hse. Score was Boston 24-20 Lakers. Later i would find out tat Lakers gt pwned by the Celtics Boston 131-92... Sad day 4 the Lakers.

So reached school round 930 and went to the canteen. Saw ghim and i threw my phone at him and said catch lorx.. Hahas wa heng his reflexs good somehow manage to catch my phone.. Haha the look on his face was priceless man. Lol but my phone oso drop nth will happen to it, it nv seems to spoil XD.. Than saw edna, tjia ying and shane back from nz at np board. Shane brought "Poo" imported from nz XD.. Hahas its actualli chocolate lik a bigger version of mnm's onli its red and taste abit of cherry i tink..

Ok went to HTA took uniform came back to school. They were doin the letters 4 the np notice board. Than when ran out of paper guess who was the "lucky" one who had to do the sai kang? Hahas no prizes for guessin it rite bt it was me lorx.. Sianz than become i oso hav to order mac, bubble tea and chicken rice sia =.=.. Lol than onli when they all eatin i remb tat i haven buy my own lunch sia =.=... Do sai kang until forget to eat... Hahas..
